Board of Directors Statement

The Board of Directors of MAGCOR remains fully committed to advancing educational, vocational, and rehabilitative opportunities for the incarcerated population within the Mississippi Department of Corrections. We believe meaningful transformation begins with access to knowledge, practical skills, and programs that prepare individuals for long term success.

Our focus is to ensure that workforce development and training opportunities remain current, relevant, and aligned with competitive, market ready skills. By investing in programs that reflect real world workforce expectations, we are helping build stronger pathways to employment, personal growth, and successful reentry.

MAGCOR is committed to supporting initiatives that not only strengthen individual potential, but also contribute to safer communities, a more prepared workforce, and a more effective corrections system. We believe that when people are given the tools to grow, learn, and rebuild, the impact reaches far beyond incarceration.
