MAGCOR Industries is a nonprofit created to provide rehabilitation work programs, job training, and reentry support services for incarcerated individuals and those returning to the community.
MAGCOR helps individuals build real world job skills, earn certifications, gain work experience, and prepare for successful reentry through structured employment, training programs, and support services.
MAGCOR works within Mississippi correctional facilities and partners closely with MDOC, but MAGCOR operates as a separate nonprofit organization.
MAGCOR Operation shops are primarily supported through earned revenue from its products and services. Purchases from MAGCOR help support workforce training and operational needs.
MAGCOR Reentry Services are grant funded.
MAGCOR serves incarcerated individuals participating in work and training programs, as well as individuals preparing to return to their communities.
MAGCOR’s mission is to provide rehabilitation work programs and reentry services that equip incarcerated individuals with real world job skills, foster successful reentry, reduce recidivism, and strengthen communities.
