MAGCOR Now Hiring Data Entry Clerk

The Data Entry Clerk is responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining a variety of data related to MAGCOR’s operations, reentry programs, training records, and client services. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that information is up-to-date, reliable, and accessible to support reporting, compliance, and program evaluation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working with confidential information in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enter data from source documents into designated databases, spreadsheets, or systems in an accurate and timely manner.

• Maintain and update records related to client participation, training completions, employment outcomes, inventory, production logs, or other relevant datasets.

• Review data for errors, inconsistencies, or missing information and resolve discrepancies in coordination with relevant team members.

• Assist with generating reports, compiling data summaries, and preparing documents for internal or external review.

• Maintain confidentiality and security of all sensitive or protected data, including personally identifiable information (PII).

• Support filing systems (digital and physical), scanning documents, and organizing records as needed. • Perform regular data quality audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with program standards and reporting requirements.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or relevant training preferred.

• 1–2 years of experience in data entry, office administration, or clerical support.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), Google Workspace, and basic database systems.

• Strong typing skills (accuracy and speed) and attention to detail.

• Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Experience working in nonprofit, government, or correctional settings is a plus.
